Just a couple little things.

Should I join the bullet craze? Perhaps I will:

-I had my interview yesterday. I think it went pretty well. One little piece of excellent news is that this team is now hiring TWO supervisors instead of just the one that I applied for. The team is made up of a manager, 4 supervisors, and about 100 team members. The 4 supervisors' teams are starting to get a too big, so that's why they're adding this 5th supervisor position that I applied for. BUT, after I'd already talked to HR and set up my interview, one of the current 4 supervisors put in his resignation. So, they have to hire 2 positions now, so they're just going to pick 2 candidates from this particular applicant pool instead of doing the whole thing all over again. Basically, better chances for me!

-I have my 5th fill scheduled for Aug 23rd because my weight loss had really slowed down, but then today I lost 1/2 lb. I don't know. I'm still going to keep the appointment. Maybe I'll just get a baby fill.

-I have a 3 year old that loves to learn new words. It doesn't phase her a bit if it happens to have 4 syllables, she loves new words. The other day, she asked me why it is that cars get smaller when they get farther away. I told her that's called, "perspective." I mean, if she's going to ask, I might as well teach her, right? So now she's been going around telling everyone that when they see a car get smaller as it gets farther away, that's called, "perspective." Let me tell you, I've gotten some shocked looks when these words come out of my 3 year old. The other day, hubby took the girls swimming at our local indoor pool, and she asked what the sign next to the hot tub says. Hubby says, "Spa Regulations." She goes, "Yeah. Spa Egg Relations." She came home and continued to tell me about it. It was pretty cute.

-It's flipping hot here. The air temp is like 97 or so, but with humidity, the heat index is nearing 120. HOT. I live in an old house, so my AC can't keep up. By about 4 pm on these hot days, even with the AC running all the time, it gets to about 78-80 in the house. It's miserable. We put window ACs in all the bedrooms, though, so we can sleep in comfort. Yuck. Remind me of this when I'm b*tching about the snow in 4 months. Of course, snow=college football, so that always helps.

That looks pretty good for now. Toodles!
