Ok. Not banded yet, as you know, but I have already started the vitamins and I got the chewables I would need post surgery. I got GNC's chewable and while it's a good vitamin - it sucks. When this bottle is all used up, I'm just going to go with good ol' Flinstones.
I also have to take a calcium supplement. I got GNC's Active Cal which is only 500 mg per chew. I like them better than they way more expensive alternative that was only 100 mg more. WAY more expensive. And these taste so much better. I also got GNC's Chewy D-3 which is 1000 IU's of vitamin D. These enhance absorption of calcium and while I probably get enough Vitamin D naturally, I thought these made the whole kit make more sense.
I take a chewable adult vitamin from pharmasave up here in canada. It is called quest think it is their generic brand. It is not so bad.. I was also trying a stress b, but have slacked on those.. I should also be on calcium and the hair nail and skin one.. Jesh more thinking and buying lol...
I take the chewable fruit flavoured vitamins (Quest brand) but don't like them. They are sorta like Sweet Tarts. I also take the chewable calcium-almost like little chocolate caramels. I am able to swallow Tylenol tabs and they don't get stuck or anything. I hope to get back on my Calcium, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, Vitamin B6 but need to figure out how to space out all the pills.
I do Centrum chewables which are okay (I wouldn't OD on them as snacks, though). I do Viactiv for Calcium (and caramel flavor). My PCP recommended I take fish oil for heart health so I get my Omega3 in an orange squeeze packet.

I take 1 prenatal vitamin cut in half. They have more iron and B vitamins than the others have. I also take a hair, skin and nails pill.

ReplyDeleteI take adult gummy vitamins from Costco- Multi Vites (I think). I've taken them since I could have mushies- they're very good.

ReplyDeleteSounds like you're doing great and glad you've turned the corner now! I take the Centrum Chewables and the Calcium Chews, both twice a day.
